About

History

The MESSIAH Mission Int’l. Min. is a Bible believing Christian congregation located at Room 408-409, #355 PPI Bldg. EDSA Caloocan City. The church started last may 19, 2002 when a group of Christian gathers at the Quezon Memorial Circle for a supposed to be a joint family devotion of four families. It turned out to be an outdoor Christian worship service because other friends joined the gathering and ask for its continuity.

Rev. Rey Bechayda, the senior minister of the Word among the group responded to the need. He then started to look for a place where people can come and gather for worship on a regular basis. The Lord gave a go signal when he miraculously provided a place from a commercial building which is known to be closed to any religious group. The owner was touched by God to allow the group to use the facility the following Sunday (May 26, 2002) even while the contract is not yet signed.

Since then, the group continues to experience the power and grace of God in different ways. The Lord literally provided everything needed for the worship place; the chairs, the musical instruments, the sound system, the office equipment, and most of all the people whom we referred to as worshippers. After four years of existence, the church is enjoying both qualitative and quantitative growth. To date the number of worshipper grew to about 200 people in all four services every Sunday.

It took two years to register the name MESSIAH MISSION INT'L. MIN. as the church official name. After five years of existence, the church is growing both in quality and in quantity.

With each challenge we have encountered, we became stronger in our faith. God has placed us here to propagate the goodnews about our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

We invite you to become a part of the church today and a piece of its history tomorrow.
